Ressa Sudoku
Six levels. One clock. Your pace.
The classic 9×9 sudoku, in black and white, against the clock. Win three grids in a row and the next level opens.
A look inside

What you get
Against the clock
Every level has its time: 10 minutes at level 1, more as the grids get harder. Finish in time to win.
Six levels, four open at once
One more technique at each level, from simple scanning to X-wings and colouring. Play at your level from the very first grid; three wins in a row open the next one.
Your mistakes stay yours
The game never points out an error. When you are stuck, a hint reveals the cell you chose, or takes you back to your first mistake.
Two ways to play
Tap a cell then a digit, or pick a digit and tap every cell it goes in. Pencil notes, in four colours.
A reason to come back
A daily challenge at your level, records to beat and grid themes to buy with the gold you earn.
Nine languages
English, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, German, Japanese, Korean and Simplified Chinese.
Fair by design
- No banner ads, ever.
- No banners and never an ad during a game: only an ad screen between some grids. Watching a video is always your choice, to double a treasure or get a hint.
- The only ad you cannot skip is a single screen between two grids, never in the middle of one.
- One small purchase removes the imposed ads for good: the screen between two grids. Reward videos stay on offer, if you want them.
- A hint chest costs €0.99 or 400 gold and holds random hints. Its odds are shown before you buy (fixed content in Belgium).
- No account needed. Press play.
Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. It is free to play with ads. A small one-time purchase removes the imposed ads; reward videos stay on offer if you want them. Optional gold packs and hint chests are there if you want hints and themes sooner: a chest holds random hints, and its odds are shown before you buy. Gold is also earned by playing.
Can I play without internet?
Yes, every grid plays offline and your progress is kept. Treasures (gold rewards), purchases and ads need a connection.
Do I need an account?
No. You start playing right away. After a couple of weeks the game offers to add an email, so you can find your progress again on a new phone. It is optional, and there is no password.
What happens when the time runs out?
Nothing stops you: finish the grid at your pace. It simply does not count as a win, and your run of wins starts again.
I am new to sudoku.
Each row, each column and each 3×3 box holds the digits 1 to 9, once each. Level 1 grids start with plenty of easy cells, and a short tutorial walks you through the first one. You can skip it.
The game does not show my mistakes. Why?
On purpose: checking the grid is part of the puzzle. When you are really stuck, the Treat box takes you back to just before your first mistake.
Is it on Android?
iPhone comes first, Android later. There is no date yet.
